How is Primary-Auto different from Primary-Standard?A definite set of records is automatically introduced into the zone file, provided that Primary-Auto service was ordered. This kind of service is necessary to provide the Web-forwarding functioning (at this moment no orders for this service are accepted). The Primary-Standard service allows the user to introduce any records in the zone file on his own, without limiting their to domains. What do I need to do to change Primary-Auto for Primary-Standard service?You should order and pay for the Primary-Standard service. The Primary-Auto service is automatically disabled. Meanwhile, all the records, previously contained in the Primary-Auto zone will automatically be transferred to the new zone, in other words, if you received Secondary, Web-forwarding or Mail-forwarding too, they are supposed to remain functional. Please, keep in mind, no refund will be made, if Primary is disabled. I have updated my Primary DNS-server, why does your Secondary DNS-server continue obtaining outdated information?You have to increase the serial number (the number of the file zone version) or make sure that Secondary obtains the zone from Primary, but not from some other server. I wish to administer Primary independently, while ordering Secondary service from you. At present my domain uses your Primary and Secondary DNS-servers. What actions should be taken to update the setting?You should: - set your server as a Primary server for your domain
name according to DNS standards.
In this case DNS-server's
settings should not prevent receiving the zone from
the IP-addresses ns4.nic.ru (194.226.96.8) and ns8.nic.ru (193.232.130.14)
of the Secondary RU-CENTER DNS-servers;
Then proceed to the "Manage your account" panel to: - disable the Primary service;

When Primary-Auto is provided, Primary-Standard is automatically switched "OFF". Please, keep in mind, that all the records, which were introduced by you in the zone while Primary-Standard was being provided, will be removed and only the necessary records will be automatically introduced. I mean the records which are necessary to make your services such as: domain registration, Secondary, Web-forwarding, Mail-forwarding function. We warn you that in case the service is switched "OFF" repayment is not made. Is it possible to set Primary-DNS for multiple domains on one computer at a time?Yes, it is possible. You are providing the Secondary service for me. Can I permit issue of the zone file of my domain from your secondary DNS servers upon the query from specific IP addresses (it is a requirement of my provider)?Yes, as part of Secondary service the zone can be obtained by the queries from IP addresses that may be configured independently by the owner in the service parameters. To assign the list of IP addresses of hosts and/or networks authorized to have the zone from Secondary DNS servers, it will be required to:
