If you order services from RU-CENTER's partner

RU-CENTER's partners list

When concluding an agreement with a partner, you should inform him of your identification and contact data (pay attention to email validity). It's in your interest to provide fully credible information, so that later you don't lose the ability to administer your domain.

The Partner enters the data that you provided into the RU-CENTER service system (fills out the NIC-D form). The RU-CENTER - Partner agreement provides that the Partner must tell you the number of your form (your identifier), and also your technical and administrative passwords, set forth in your form.

You can change service settings and contact data, set forth in your form, using your identifier and passwords. Changes can be made in the "Manage your account" section of RU-CENTER's web-server.

Your data is entered into the RU-CENTER service system only once. If you wish to go to another Partner, or to start working with RU-CENTER directly, you will only have to tell your NIC-D identifier. Such transfer can be performed on the basis of an official letter from the Client to RU-CENTER or the Client's request, sent through RU-CENTER's web-interface (with authorization, using the number of your NIC-D form and the administrative password, set forth in it) in the "Manage your account" section - "Change partner" link - in case of a transfer to another partner, or "Transfer to RU-CENTER" link, for a transfer to RU-CENTER. The Partner's consent for such a transfer of the Client is not necessary.

If you order domain name registration services in .RU domain from the Partner, perform a careful examination of terms of the agreement that you are about to conclude, in the part about domain name registration. Particularly, the agreement should provide the Partner's obligations concerning second-level domain registration in .RU domain on your behalf. A second-level domain looks like this: <domain-name>.ru.

Please, note that <www>.<domain-name>.ru type domain (do not confuse with a site's web-address) is a third-level domain and is not to be registered in the RU registry. A link to a <www>.<domain-name>.ru domain in the agreement with the Partner does not guarantee you <domain-name>.ru domain name registration on your behalf.

When ordering a domain name registration service for you, the Partner should specify the number of your form. Only in that case you will be stated as the domain Administrator. The Administrator is the one, who has all rights to use the registered domain name. To check, if the domain is registered on your behalf, you can use the WHOIS-service https://www.nic.ru/whois/en/. Information about you should be set forth in the "org" field, if you are a juridical entity, or in the "person" field, if you are an individual person.

Transferring domain management to another registrar or changing the Administrator (domain owner) is performed only on the basis of your official letter. No actions, concerning domain transfers, are taken on demand from the Partner, who is carrying out the technical support of your domain.
