Keep your Information Confidential with RU-CENTER

Effective February 16, 2009 RU-CENTER clients - domain owners in RU and SU TLDs would have an option to display in Whois listings their specific contact details, other than those recorded in the Registrant's profile. Furthermore, the user will be able to assign individual contacts for each specific domain.

This option would add privacy on the Registrant's information, and Whois listings would display only specific contact details dedicated for this domain. Private contact details communicated to RU-CENTER during registration would therefore be protected against illegal actions, which is most critical for bulk domain owners.

For newly registered domains in RU and SU TLDs, all the details will be indicated in process of order placement. Previously registered domain holders may independently modify contact details in the control panel.

Therefore, effective February 16, 2009 the following document is subject to revision:
