Domains Registration Schedule in РФ TLD1. Definitions Domain is an area of the Internet hierarchical name space, which is denoted by a unique domain name, served by a set of Domain Name Servers (DNS), and administered autonomously by a Registrant. Each registered domain name is assigned to a single Registrant. Cyrillic Domain Name (domain name) is a string of characters, registered for network addressing, where the domain name system is used (DNS). Cyrillic domain may contain letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, numbers from zero (0) to nine (9) and a hyphen (-). Domain Name Presentation is Domain name containing Latin letters, numbers and hyphens. Presentation is a result of conversion of the Cyrillic domain by PUNYCODE (given in technical standards RFC-3490, 3491, 3492). Registry is the central database of the РФ domain, which contains information on the registered presentations of Cyrillic domain names, their Registrants and other required information. Registrar is a legal entity that provides services of domain name registration and ensures delivery of the necessary information to the Registry. Registrant (domain name owner) is the person in whose name the domain is registered. In this case the domain is administered by the Contractor for the whole ownership term. Information on the domain name owner is entered into the Registrar's (Contractor's) Registry. After one year from the date of the domain name registration the domain name owner shall automatically acquire the Registrant status and the respective entry shall be made in the Registry and the Registrar's (Contractor's) Registry. The domain name owner has no right to alienate the domain until he gets the Registrant status. The domain owner shall be liable for potential infringement of rights of third parties in relation to the domain name selection and usage, and bear the risk of loss due to such violations. Domain Ownership is entry of information about domain name, its Registrant and Owner by the Contractor into Registrar's Registry based on a Customer's request. A domain name will be deemed transferred to the Domain Owner from the moment of data entry into Registrar's Registry. Domain ownership validity term during which domain records are stored in the Registry amounts to one year. The domain ownership service is delivered for RF non-residents only.
