If you received "Zone Expire" messageUpdate of information about zone on the secondary DNS-server is processed in compliance with Retry, Refresh, and Expire parameters, given in SOA record of zone on the primary server. If secondary server is unable to transfer zone from primary DNS-server while working, requests for zone transfer from secondary DNS-server will be repeated with Retry periodicity and within Expire period, specified in SOA record of the zone. Notifications with information on problems emerging from zone transfer and encountered errors will be forwarded to the address identified by Customer as address for messages about services. If zone transfer from the server, specified as primary, fails within zone update period (Expire), attempts for zone allocation on secondary server will be suspended for 4 days in correspondence with Domains Maintenance Schedule. It is necessary to remove errors, encountered while attempting to transfer zone. Typical problems and methods of their removal are given here.
