Domain name status in gTLD and foreign ccTLD

Domain name status may have the following values:

• registrar change is prohibited
• registrar change is allowed

Registrar change prohibited - the status which does not allow initiating domain name registrar change in the registry, i.e. domain name maintenance transfer to another registrar from RU-CENTER registration system is not available. That status is set by RU-CENTER automatically when in the process of domain name registration for protection from unauthorized registrar change.

If you are going to transfer domain name maintenance to another registrar, first of all unblock the domain name. In order to do that you should:

• enter the "Manage your account" section;
• specify your agreement number and administrative password;
• choose the option "View and change data" in the "Services" menu;
• find the service "<Domain name>Domain name registration";
• click on "Status" in the "Change parameters" column;
• uncheck the "Registrar change prohibited" option;
• click the "Save" button.
