Change of Registration Terms for .РФ Preorders

From October 25, 2010 a new РФ registration preorder procedure will come into effect.

Change of domains registration policy in РФ TLD will primarily concern the auction rules for the domains, for which two or more preorder requests will be received by the start of public registration.

RU-CENTER clients, who registered .РФ domain by the auction results will gain Domain Owner's status. In this case RU-CENTER will nominally hold administration rights to this domain for one year since its registration. Upon one year's expiry, the administration rights to the domain will be automatically transferred to its Owner.

The owner of the domain will have possibility to determine the way of its usage and gain full access to its management (including delegation right), except for domain ownership transfer, cancelling or registrar's change for the first year's term.

These restrictions are exclusively related to registrant' change lock introduced in РФ TLD within the first year from the registration date.

Furthermore, with a view to the introduced restriction for a registration of .РФ domain names by RF non-residents, RU-CENTER clients, who have this status and made a preorder for .РФ domain will also have Domain Owner's rights for the first year's term in case of a successful registration of these domains.

At the present moment RU-CENTER continues to receive preorders for .РФ domains from general public.
