New restrictions on the Sunrise Registration in .РФ TLD for Mass Media are introduced

On July 13, 2010, the Council meeting of Coordination Center for TLD RU has announced the subtotals of Sunrise Registration period in TLD РФ. In order to protect the legitimate interests of the Mass Media founders it is decided to supply the current version of "Procedures for priority registration of domain names in ccTLD .РФ for certain categories of registrants" with the new condition, stating that the Sunrise Registration of .РФ domain names will only be available for those Mass Medias, which were registered before May 12, 2010.

The renewed version of rules shall come into force on July 15, 2010.

Considering this, RU-CENTER will review the earlier orders regarding their compliance with the new conditions. Consequently, all the orders that will satisfy the new requirements will be proceeded.

From now on all the orders for registration of domains in domain .РФ will be processed according to the renewed procedure, taking into consideration the regulation changes asserted by the Council meeting of Coordination Center for TLD RU.
